We're committed to diversity in our supplier base as well as our workforce. It's our policy to provide a fair and equitable opportunity for qualified small businesses to be considered as our supply partners. This policy also extends to sheltered workshops, historically black colleges and universities, minority institutions and businesses owned by American veterans.

Because we believe diversity is a positive and a strength for both our organization and our customers, we seek to develop and foster strategic business relationships with small businesses owned by ethnic minorities and women. We look for suppliers that not only add value to our organization, but also align themselves with the same standards and values as Cardinal Health. And to further reinforce our commitment to supplier diversity, we encourage our contractors to use diverse suppliers, too.
